Jeff Crosby

Jeff Crosby has shared the title track from his seventh studio album
‘Another Petal Falls Off The Rose,’ out on July 26. Atmospheric and timely, the title track displays some of Crosby’s most thoughtful and vulnerable songcraft to date as he swirls his personal experiences into those of modern-day America. Click here to listen.  For this new project, Crosby enlisted legendary bassist Dave Schools (Widespread Panic) to handle production. Known for his distinctive Americana and country leanings,
this new collection of songs marks a stylistic turning point in Crosby’s catalog. The result is an invigorating collection of songs rife with expansive arrangements, Southern rock-hued twang and visceral ruminations on forgiveness, redemption and new love. Recorded at Space Camp Studios in Occidental, CA ‘Another Petal Falls Off The Rose’ features eight original songs, all of which were written by Crosby. Other players on the album include Crosby’s longtime band members Matt Fabbi (bass guitar, vocals)
and Michael Mitchell (drums), as well as Jason Crosby (piano, keys); Mookie Siegel (keys, synthesizers) and John Keane (pedal steel, shakers, vocals).
Crosby, who splits his time between Austin, TX and Boise, ID, gave fans an earlypreview of the album through the release of his lead single “Silver Lining” last month.  Anchored by lush pedal steel and soul-tinged grooves, the track is one of Crosby’s most inspirational to date. “Silver Lining” is now available on all streaming platforms.  Check out an impressive performance of the new album’s opening track “Out In the
Country” on the nationally syndicated series Texas Music Scene here.
Known for his blistering live performances, Crosby is currently on an extensive tour that includes festival appearances at Americanafest (Nashville, TN) and Braun Brothers Reunion (Challis, ID), and will also take him through Montana, Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and Texas. Stay tuned for additional tour announcements

Born and raised in Idaho, Crosby has been sharing his unique perspective of Americana throughout the US and Europe for the past decade. After moving to Los Angeles, CA in 2012, Crosby landed two songs (This Old Town and Oh Love, Oh Lord) on the hit FX series Sons of Anarchy, which garnered instant attention and demand for live performances. Shortly thereafter, Crosby and his band played an assortment of clubs, festivals, and biker rallies throughout the country, performing over 200 shows a year for the next five years.  During 2015-2019, Crosby played guitar for Widespread Panic songwriter Jerry Joseph and Americana and Red Dirt icons Reckless Kelly.
