Jason Perry Trio

Jason Perry has spent the last 9 years performing in a fantastically diverse array of bands including a 10 piece Motown Revue, a 26 piece Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Trios, Blues Quartets, Psychedelic Funk Ensembles, an 11 piece west African Funk band, and countless solo engagements.

Currently, his primary outlets are as an acoustic soloist and his funk rock band, The Jason Perry Trio.

As an acoustic soloist, he utilizes his full range of experiences, authentically recreating popular rock, soul and jazz standards while putting his own twist on timeless classics. Every performance is tailored to each unique audience, ranging from the life of the party to mellow dinner music. He utilizes a looping station and subtle effect pedals to display his full musical prowess even in a solo setting.

The Jason Perry Trio is a Funk-Rock powerhouse that juxtaposes tight arrangement with explosive musical improvisations. Most performances are split between Perry’s soulful original songs and exciting renditions of funk, rock, and soul classics.
