Smoking Bill is a fun and energetic band with an emphasis on a good old fashioned party sensibility, that started in the college town of Moscow Idaho. The band cut its teeth on the campus of the University of Idaho being the soundtrack to many drunken students looking to escape for a night or a weekend from the stresses of school at house parties and local bars. They then tested their act on the road and toured all over the northwest including Montana, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon and even B.C.

After graduating many of the members moved to Seattle to start a new life and test the waters of the Puget Sound sound…. Since then they have been grateful to play many amazing venues with some wonderful local bands. Including The Tractor tavern, The High Dive, Nuemos, and The Historic Showbox at the market.
