RoQy TyRaiD

Cultivator of Culture, Purveyor of Punchline. Ordinary man, extraordinary music. Hip Hop’s Anti-Hero ..RoQy TyRaiD..

RoQ’y / TyRaiD the New Millennium Man. Whether its the menacing lyrics of TyRaiD or the smooth delivery and wildcard antics of RoQ.. this one man duo strives to push the envelope and add to the resurgence of TRUE school hip-hop. Duality, balance… is comical? political? introspective? an orator with the soul of an executioner? many hats are worn.. but I can say this…. the dude’s pretty nice. Enjoy the music.

sokState Of Krisis

Upbeat, rowdy, and energetic, are just a few words to describe “The State of Krisis”. They are a comprised trio of ten year veteran front man “The Krisis”, lyrical wordsmith “Jack Skiles”, and scratch and mix dj, “Reverend DarkBood”. Playing over twenty-five shows in 2016, SOK has been showing the whole northwest and beyond exactly what they have to offer. Performing positive, inspiring lyrics over professional beats and mixes has created their unique sound and style. While Jack Skiles flows intricate and complex rhyme schemes, The Krisis adds in his grunge hip hop sound to create amazing hit tracks. Armed with captivating performances, strong delivery, and thought provoking lyrical content, State Of Krisis breathes new life into the music scene as one of the more exciting hip-hop acts in that they combine a lot of styles. There is a groovy hardcore vibe, combined with a rap rock feel, and yet the group knows how to create spacey dynamics and clearly has chemistry as an organic unit. In 2016 SOK delivered their sophomore project “Chaos Theory” with an even grungier sound quite unique in todays hip hop. Included with the release, SOK headlined their own Northwest tour spanning eleven cities, three states in twelve days. The group opened for many mainstream acts in 2016 including Jarren Benton, Rittz, Nipsey Hustle, and sold out shows with Andre Nickatina, The Game, Nappy Roots and Layzie Bone. Most notably after submitting their EPK to Strange Music, State of Krisis were invited to open Tech Nine’s “Calm Before The Storm Tour” stop in Spokane, WA to a sell out crowd
