Hank Shreve Band
Harmonica Ace, Singer extraordinaire, Keyboardist, Drummer, Songwriter and Lap-Steel player, Hank Shreve fronts a powerhouse band including some of the best talent in the Pacific Northwest. The Band consists of Hank’s father, Bill Shreve on Bass/Vocals, Ken Luker on Guitars, GT Albright on Drums/Vocals and Skip Jones on Keys/Vocals. The Band has received the Portland Cascade Blues Association’s ”Muddy Award” for ”2012 Best New Act”, “2013 and 2014 Best Regional Act”.
Hank began playing harmonica at the age of 8 and has established himself as a major harmonica talent on the blues scene in the Pacific Northwest. He received the Northwest Harmonica Championship in 2006 and the ”Muddy Award” for ”Best Harmonica” in 2009 and 2013. Hank was a featured artist in the Harmonica Blow-off at the 2009 Waterfront Blues Festival along with Rick Estrin and Randy Chortkoff. He also was a featured harmonica player at Harpdog Brown’s ‘International Harmonica Showcase’ in White Rock, Canada.
In addition to many music luminaries, he has shared the stage with delta-blues legend Honeyboy Edwards, Merle Haggard, Norton Buffalo, Gregg Rolie, Marcia Ball, Sista Monica Parker, Amy Clawson & Pam Tillis, Terry Robb, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Roger Fisher (from Heart), Curtis Salgado, DK Stewart, Lloyd Jones, Paul deLay and many other national acts.
