Far Out West
Brand new as of October 2016, Far Out West fuses acoustic and electric, city and country, Oregon and Colorado. The band is a collaboration between previous members of powerhouses in the Portland music scene. Songwriters from The Student Loan Chad Kimbler (mandolin) and Liz Chibucos (electric guitar) now have a new medium with rhythm section Forest Carter (drums, The Giraffe Dodgers) and Daniel Lee (bass, The Manimalhouse).
